Another first-time taster. I allowed mine to defrost and after searing, fried gently in mixed oil and bacon fat (from Rendall's smoked bacon). Hold their shape very well. I had on toasted wholemeal rolls topped with fried shallots & spring onions, fried courgette slices, sliced gherkin and lightly melted Emmental cheese, plus home-made burger sauce (2 mayo to 1 tomato ketchup + chopped up gherkin). Was the best burgers I've had ever. Will definitely be buying again.

First time trying these. Quite impressed. Nice taste, just a little 'dry' in texture. Cooked slowly in a drop of oil over a low heat. The Wife and I had one each with some proper home cooked chips, and a tin of peas (yes I know!) and that was enough for both of us - they're very filling. If you can accept the crumbly/dry texture then everything is hunky dory! Oh they do need constant movement in the pan to prevent surface burning whilst cooking.

Great taste, absolutely delicious. I would not say that was Zebra if I will know.

Just had these burgers for tea. Hubby and I had one each. Cooked on flavour chef which is an electric grill and you don't need to add oil. Took the same length of time as an average burger. Added a sliced onion. There wasn't any smeechy in the air while cooking. Oh my word, when I popped the first piece in my mouth I was blown away. Absolutely delicious. It fell apart in my mouth. It was dense yet crumbly. Deep and rich to look at and certainly didn't disappoint. It was an incredibly nice experience, shall certainly be purchasing again.
